  How are new Servants and Elders appointed?

  now that we have the tick-a-box field service reporting method, how are brothers measured fit for an appointment as a ms or elder?

  has there been clarification in any of the recent elders schools or in meetings with the co?.

  When i was a kid in the 1980s,, I was so terrified of demons. That I dreaded going to bed at night when I was 12 or 13. I was so relieved when morning always came. All the time.

  When I heard the furnace ducting rattling as the furnace turned off,,, Id experience heart palpitations & I would pull the bed sheets over my head.....I would leave a light on nearby overnight.

  Now,,,I sleep soundly,,, without any light on......

  Governing body signing bibles?

  Well they created this entire self adoration didn't they?

  There was a video of Gary Breaux( helper) and GB Sam Herd a few years ago being pretty much worshipped as they entered some reception hall in South America( i believe).

  They had people playing musical instruments,,, almost bending over & worshipping them. The governing body.

  Now we hear all this talk about slamming idolizing people. I just dont get it. Puzzled.

  here is my story of becoming a missionary after having kin suen (pronounced “shin”) as my circuit overseer.

  my father wanted me to go to college, but since he wasn’t a witness, i knew he just didn’t understand how close we were to the end.

  i had actually become a circuit overseer!

  ""You knew it was the 'truth' ever since you were a baby &...."".

  NO.!

  ""Truth" is a loaded term. Its the same thing as if you've been born into a Muslim,, Mormon,,,Sikh,,, Hindu,,,Catholic.....whatever.

  Thats all you knew when born. Thats the only thing and information you had at the time. The decision was made for you. It wasn't yours.

  You have no choice to where you're born,..where,,,when or what belief system.. It wasnt,,,, your choice. Its inherited.
